(1) Assemble the two "Item 4" engine liners onto the "Item 1" strut according to the "Strut Weldment Assembly" drawing and place the assembly onto the fixture body; position the Item 1 strut using stop pins and stop plates, and clamp it with a screw clamp; simultaneously, position the two Item 4 engine liners using locating pins and clamp them with quick-release screw clamps.
(2) After tack welding, release the quick-release screw clamps, remove the locating pins, and take the assembly off the fixture for final welding.
(3) Place the welded assembly back onto the fixture body, positioning it with stop pins and stop plates, and clamp it with a screw clamp; then, place the M6 nut and horn bracket assembly onto the welded assembly, positioning it via the conical-tipped pin on the screw clamping mechanism and the slot in the mechanism's pressure plate, and clamp it using the screw clamping mechanism.
(4) Perform three-sided welding to join the M6 nut and horn bracket assembly to the strut; then, release all screw clamps; the pressure plate of the mechanism clamping the M6 nut and horn bracket assembly will spring upward, disengaging its conical-tipped locating pin from the welded assembly; next, push the pressure plate to disengage one end from the clamping mechanism's stud, rotate the plate to the side of the welded assembly, and remove the finished part.
